Conducting an on-course evaluation with a PGA Professional will give the student and the instructor an objective and valuable insight into the student’s strengths and weaknesses.  The on-course evaluation will consist of several tests of skill including full swing from several different terrains to determine accuracy and distance control.  Short game including height and distance control from different conditions including sand bunkers.  Putting including distance and line control.  With this information Innovative Golf Schools will be prepared to tailor an individualized instruction plan.

Controlling ball striking is as important in golf as dribbling is in basketball.  Understanding how to move the golf ball around the golf course is critical to shooting low scores.  There is no other arena of instruction and practice that allows better simulation of this skill than on the range.  Hitting golf balls off grass turf and learning how to control ball flight begins to prepare you for the diverse conditions you will face on the golf course.

Innovative recognizes there are very fundamental movements necessary to put the golf club in a good ball striking position.  Technology available in bay makes it possible for the student to see these positions and easily transition into correct movements.  Many times, when a player has over several years, engrained improper movements it is nearly impossible to make these changes without this technology.   Innovative has several years of combined experience with comparative video, motion measurement and launch monitors.

It is impossible to over state the importance of a good short game.  A good short game is necessary to effectively navigate the golf course.  Every golf hole will require these skills to keep a low score.  Indeed, a good short game can erase a multitude of other weaknesses on the golf course.  Short game is also one of the most diverse skills required in the game of golf.  Different hole locations, turf and sand conditions, and slope around the green make this the most challenging aspect of mastering golf.  Due to the diverse and often changing nature of short game Innovative Golf Schools strives to teach all short game on the golf course.
